At the age of 20 I moved to New York City to pursue the glittering lights of Broadway. As a teenager I trained at a wonderful ballet school in Youngstown, Ohio, and was very active in area theatres. From a young age the arts were instilled in me as being essential not only in my own life, but in a thriving society.
I spent several years as a professional dancer in New York City and touring the United States. It was a profound experience to travel from city to city and to see that everywhere we went, theatre brought families together and created an unequivocal experience and a lasting memory. I remembered my mom taking me to the theatre and the bond it created for us. I could always feel happy knowing that the work we did on stage was passing that same experience on to someone else.
As my passion for theatre evolved I turned towards producing as a way to continue to bring new works to the stage. I've made it my ambition to combine art and commerce to bring successful works of theatrical art to life.
Art is fundamental, unique to each of us…Even in difficult economic times - especially in difficult economic times - the arts are essential.
